Tenuta Armaiolo is an age old Tuscan Estate. Located just 2 Kms away from Rapolano Terme, around Siena, extending for 600 acres of flora and fauna typical of this area. The 13 scattered hamlets within the area make stays at the estate immensely suggestive. Three of these ancient houses are fully dedicated to the stay of the guests during their stay, in which both the rooms and the apartments are finished in a rustic Tuscan style, within the naturalness of the place.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Within the 600 acres of the estate Gunsmith, we visit three houses used for the relaxation and the holidays of our guests. St. Maria: it’s an old farm house that welcomes our guests to their destination, aged the end of 1800. Completely renovated St. Maria has all its splendor in both the interior and exterior, overlooking the woods of oak trees and a garden planted with ancient trees. Al Casalino: original ancient house of Leopold Age, built since 1300, welcomes our guests in its typical stone original building. La Palmiera: nestled in one of the estate’s valley, keeping in close contact either with the flora and fauna of the area or with a little river that runs nearby, it is ideal for a confidential romantic and natural atmosphere for its guests.
RESTAURANT
Armaiolo Restaurant is open on weekends and in the events organized. The service is offered within the eighties Hall or outside the patio entrance during the hot summers, in a very suggestive atmosphere tasting the typical products of the place, directly bred, raised and produced within the estate. Simple and delicious menus delight the palate and satisfy the most demanding guests.
TYPICAL PRODUCTS
Excellent extra virgin olive oil, of an intense green color and with a characteristic aroma. Chianti wines having an intense red rubbish color and fruity perfumes. Aromatic and medicinal herbs, fruit, vegetables and mushrooms. Moreover we grow pheasants, surf scoter, rabbits, turkeys, chickens.
